Refund Processing Time

1. Contest Entry Fees β€” Non-Refundable

Contest entry fees are charged from the user's in-app wallet at the time of submitting a contest entry. Once an entry is successfully submitted and payment is deducted from your wallet, the contest entry fee is non-refundable.

Reason: Entry fees contribute to the prize pool and operational costs of running the contest. Once a slot is allocated to you and the contest has begun, the fee cannot be returned.

2. Wallet Top-Up β€” Refundable (Unused Balance)

Wallet top-up amounts that have not been used for any contest entry are eligible for refund. Here's how wallet refunds work:

To request a wallet refund, email support@auditionindia.com with your registered email, User ID, and the refund amount. We will process your request within 5–7 working days. The refund will be credited to the original payment source (bank account / UPI / card).

3. Payment Failures & Technical Errors

If a payment is deducted from your bank account but your wallet is not credited, please follow the steps below:

Wait 30 Minutes

Payment gateways typically auto-reconcile failed transactions within 30 minutes. Check your wallet balance after waiting.

Contact Support with Transaction Details

Email support@auditionindia.com with your bank transaction ID (UTR), amount, date, and registered mobile number.

Investigation (1–3 Working Days)

We will investigate with our payment gateway partner (Juspay / HDFC SmartGateway) and reconcile the transaction.

Refund or Wallet Credit

If the payment is confirmed as failed/duplicate, we will either credit your wallet or refund to your original payment source within 5–7 working days.

4. Cancellation Policy

Users may cancel a contest entry under specific conditions:


Cancel before contest starts (within 1 hour of entry) Wallet Refund (minus β‚Ή5 processing fee)
Cancel after contest has started No Cancellation / Refund
Contest cancelled by Audition India Full Wallet Credit within 24 hours
App account deletion request Unused wallet balance refunded in 30 days

To cancel a contest entry (before contest starts), go to My Entries β†’ Contest Details β†’ Cancel Entry in the Audition India mobile app, or contact support immediately.

5. Prize Winnings & Payouts

Winners are announced at the end of each contest based on votes or judge evaluation. Prize distribution is subject to:

  • Winner must have a verified account (KYC completed) to receive monetary prizes.
  • Prize money will be transferred to the winner's registered bank account / UPI ID within 7 working days of announcement.
  • If a winner is found to have violated contest guidelines (fake votes, multiple accounts), the prize will be forfeited and awarded to the next eligible participant.
  • Non-monetary prizes (certificates, merchandise) will be dispatched within 15 working days.
  • Prizes are subject to applicable TDS deduction as per Indian tax laws (if prize amount exceeds β‚Ή10,000 in a financial year).
