Acceptance

By using Audition India App, you agree to abide by these Terms of Service and Policies and Conditions. If you do not agree with any part of these terms, please uninstall the app immediately.

Eligibility

  • You must be 12 years or older to use the Audition India app
  • You must be 18 years or older with valid ID verification to participate in paid contests

User Responsibilities

  • No illegal, offensive, or fraudulent activity on the platform
  • No manipulation of contests, votes, or leaderboards
  • Respect all users, artists, and moderators at all times

User-Generated Content

  • Users may upload, share, or stream content (music, images, videos) on the platform
  • You must own the rights to any content you upload, or have explicit written permission from the rights holder
  • You are solely responsible for any content you upload and any consequences arising from it

Auditions & Contests

  • Participation in contests requires payment of the applicable contest fee
  • Winners are selected by judges or by metrics such as vote counts
  • Prizes and rewards are distributed to verified accounts only
  • No refunds are issued after submission of a contest entry

Content Use

By uploading content to Audition India, you grant us a non-exclusive, royalty-free licence to display, share, promote, and distribute your content on our platform and other social/promotional channels for marketing purposes. You retain full ownership of your original content.

Account Suspension

We reserve the right to suspend or permanently ban accounts that violate our community rules, contest guidelines, or overall app integrity — without prior notice in cases of serious violations.

Legal & Contact

We are not liable for losses arising from misuse, third-party service failures, or circumstances outside our reasonable control. These terms are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of Jammu, Jammu & Kashmir, India.

Copyright Infringement & Takedown Policy

  • We respect copyright laws, including the Indian Copyright Act and the IT Rules, 2021
  • Upon receiving a valid notice, we will act promptly (within 7 days) to block or remove the infringing content
  • Repeat infringers may have their accounts blocked permanently

Prohibited Actions

Do not use our platform to:

  • Upload copyrighted content without the rights holder's permission
  • Share pirated or illegally obtained music, videos, or images
  • Violate any local or international copyright, IP, or data protection laws

Disclaimer of Liability

  • We are not responsible for any copyright infringement committed by users on the platform
  • We only process takedown notices as required by applicable law
  • Our liability is limited to the prompt removal of infringing content after receiving a valid notice
